I'm Jess, the person behind the lens

I'm based in sunny Bradenton, Florida. You can find me photographing in Sarasota, Lakewood Ranch, Bradenton, Parrish, Siesta Key, AMI, and beyond!

I'm a creative at heart with a lifelong passion for design and storytelling. I hold a degree in Art & Design with a minor in Psychology and have built a career in graphic design, web design and web development. Creativity has always been the common thread in my life, whether I'm designing a website, styling a space, or capturing meaningful moments through photography.

I picked up my first camera after graduating college and quickly fell in love with the ability to freeze moments in time. While life eventually pulled me in other directions - through marriage, motherhood to my two beautiful daughters, and a growing design career - that creative spark has only grown brighter. When I returned to photography, it felt like coming home, and I haven't looked back since.

I believe life is made up of small, often overlooked moments, and it's within those everyday details that true beauty lives. My goal is to document the perfectly imperfect - authentic, fleeting moments that tell your story in a way that can never be replicated.

I would be honored to help preserve your memories, whether they're big milestones, quiet in-between moments, or simply moments worth remembering!

Beyond the Lens

When I'm not behind my camera, I can be found enjoying time with my husband CJ. We've been married for 11+ years and have 2 beautiful daughters, Coralai (6) and Elaina (5). We also have an 11 year-old rescued black lab mix (Tesla, named after Nikola Tesla) who is attached to my hip and I wouldn't have it any other way! We have a 13 year-old grey tabby cat (Sadie, named after The Beatles song "Sexy Sadie") who basically runs the house.

I grew up in NE Pennsylvania with a deep appreciation for the outdoors, nature, and animals. I honestly can't remember a time period that I wasn't outside! I spent winters snowboarding and was busy during the rest of the year playing numerous sports. I was a track & field sprinter, played soccer for 10 years, and spent several years on a swim team, but my true love was field hockey, where I earned the nickname "Hat Trick" for obvious reasons! I remain a member of my hometown's hunting & fishing club and I have an obsession with strength training. I compete in power-lifting and love being strong. Strength training has taught me invaluable life lessons that I carry with me both inside the gym and out. I enjoy empowering other women, moms especially, and celebrating what the female body is capable of. I also hope to encourage my daughters to live a healthy, active lifestyle and to chase their dreams!

Testimonials

My son has CHD (TOF) and had open heart surgery at 2.5 months old.  His yearly heartiversary is a day that holds such deep emotion, gratitude, and joy for us. Every year we do a Mommy and me photoshoot for it.

Finding the right photographer felt incredibly important. From the very start, Jess approached our story with so much care, compassion, and genuine understanding. It never felt like “just another session.” It truly honored the significance of the day.

During the shoot, she was so patient and warm, especially with our son. She made him feel comfortable, confident, and even excited, which is no small thing! You could tell she wasn’t just taking pictures, she was capturing him, his journey, and the spirit of everything this milestone represents.

And the photos are perfection. Every image feels alive with emotion. The little details, the light, the expressions—somehow Jess preserved not just how the day looked, but how it felt. These aren’t just photos for us—they’re treasures. They tell a story of resilience, love, and a second chance at life, and we will cherish them forever.

If you’re looking for someone who brings both incredible talent and genuine heart into their work, I cannot recommend Jess enough.

This was more than a photography session—it was a deeply meaningful experience we’ll never forget.
